Ariel is right behind bad girl Alice as one of the most famous Disney ladies. Here are some great, obsessive works of fan art. Enjoy! Whether you visit on your own, or use a travel site, you will quickly notice that there are tattoo shops aplenty in Orlando's tourist areas. More than once have i almost come home with a little ink, and if ever I was to walk into such a place i'd need a solid idea of what i wanted. Here are some more inspiring ideas I've collected over the last few months.
Growing up in Orlando, as I did, meant that by the time I was 12 I was so sick of Disney World that the "it's a small world" song could probably have made me vomit. Moving away, however, showed me just what I was missing and I would give anything to spend every weekend at the parks like I used to. Now that I am in my 20s, liquor and tattoos flow like water in and out of the Magic Kingdom and I am beginning to get Disney Tattoo envy. I want to carry Disney with me forever through my new, "grown up" life... But i can't quite settle on a movie or park. These ideas are wonderful- and what embodies every single one of them? Mickey Mouse! I'd like to avoid a picture of Mickey mouse on my body if at all possible, but i am liking some of these options....
I absolutely adore that Ariel's ribcage doubles as her gills. Looks like she's gone vegan though...When surrounded by fish, it's not a recommended lifestyle. Yes, yes. I know that isn't Disney's Alice, but video game Alice is just as cool. Especially when portrayed like this.
It's a little bit Roman Dirge mixed with Burton, but i do wish they were better dressed. It's not enough to change a princess' face and make her skinnier! I love love love the gothic lolita outfits pictured below... Maybe I should draw up a little mixture of my own? If only I had a princess to look at while i sketched...oh, that's right! My disney vacation is next week! Muahahahahaha my life>yours.
