As you all may know, Disneyland's Fire Department building is located where Walt Disney used to be. His old apartment, right above the Fire Department, remains decorated the same way Disney used to have it; everything is left the same way as a symbol to welcome him home "in spirit". But, could his spirit actually still be there, in the apartment? Many people claim to have felt a presence around the area, eerie and cold, but not threatening. Even more, some have even said to have heard footsteps, door knocks and strange, inexplicable sounds.
Nevertheless, the strangest story is the one a member of the staff assures actually happened. One evening, she was sent to dust the apartment and, when finishing, turned off the light of the lamp by the window. This lamp was the one that Walt Disney would leave on when he was home to let people know that he was available. When she left the building and turned back, she saw the light was on. Assuming she had forgotten to turn it off, she returned to the apartment and did so. A few moments later, the light turned back on on its own and a strange voice coming from nowhere said "Don't forget, I am still here"...
Creepy, huh?
