Middle Eastern artist SaintHoax mixes pop culture with current politics in a very interesting way. Saint Hoax is pseudonym for a Middle Eastern Artist who describes his work as "POPlitical Infatuation".
My favorite series so far is Polivillains, where he makes portraits of several famous politicians remained as Disney villains. You can see the whole collection in his webpage, but in the mean time, I will leave you with a few of the best, including Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro and North Korea's Kim Jong Un.
The collection was prefaced with this poem:
"Once upon a fiery night
When leftists took an unholy right
And rightists took a wicked left
Agendas planned with utter deft
Bloody eyes and a vicious grin
A long road that is paved with sin
They don't cast spells, nor do they breathe fire
Characterized as meticulous liars
Intentions hidden behind a veil
There’s nothing fairy about that tale
They turn the page to a darker chapter
Where we live happy never after"
What do you think?
